Avondale Toyota, a local family-owned business, has announced a newly expanded service center for the Valley. The 56,000 square-foot addition increases the dealership’s service bays from 36 to 70 and establishes Avondale Toyota as one of the largest Toyota service centers in the western United States. The $15 million expansion more than doubles daily service capacity, from 210 to 410 appointments per day with staffing growing approximately 35% to support rising demand across the service center.

“As a local independent business in the West Valley, we are excited to be expanding our service center to allow for not only more available appointments but also a faster experience,” said Alex Cosenza, General Manager of Avondale Toyota. “Our team prides itself in listening to customer feedback, and we believe that this additional space in the service center will benefit our community for years to come.”

The facility features 70 bays ranging from lube, tire and break service to maintenance and accessories rounding out with main shop service bays for all other vehicle repairs. Additionally, the space is equipped to service hybrid and EV vehicles with lifts and appropriate tools, supporting the rising EV adoption across the state. New shop equipment like jacks, jack stands, pole jacks and more. The expansion included a new breakroom, bathrooms and lockers for the service staff. The new facility was completed in approximately 18 months.

Avondale Toyota is, has and will continue to hire several professionals to keep the new service center running on time. New parts team members will help elevate efficiency by delivering parts to the mechanics in the shop, allowing techs to stay working on the vehicles, and completing customer repairs faster. Main shop, lube line and tire technicians along with support staff and service advisor positions are also on board to accommodate the expansion.

“Our shop has always been focused on efficiency, quality, and taking care of our customers the right way,” said shop foreman, Scott Johnson. “With this expansion, we now have the space, equipment, and support staff to keep our technicians focused on what they do best, working on vehicles, while improving turnaround times and increasing the number of customers we can serve each day.”
