Trammell Crow Company (TCC) Phoenix has started the construction of Axis Raintree, a 175,000-square-foot Class A speculative office development in Scottsdale. Construction of the three-story building and structured parking garage will be complete in Q4 2020. The property, which is located at the southwest corner of Raintree Drive and 87th Street, was acquired by TCC in April 2019.
“We are excited to commence the construction of Axis Raintree, which will be the first Class A office building developed in North Scottsdale since 2015,” said Cullen Mahoney, a Vice President with TCC Phoenix. “The building will have 16-foot deck-to-deck height, abundant floor-to-ceiling glass, and several tenant amenity areas. We believe these modern features will be attractive to prospective tenants looking to upgrade their office space to help in recruiting and retaining employees.”
Designed by RSP Architects, the office building will feature a café lounge, 40-person training room, and views of the McDowell Mountains. Willmeng Construction is the project general contractor.
The property is easily accessible from the Loop 101 Freeway via a full diamond interchange at Raintree. Bryan Taute and Charlie Von Arentschildt with CBRE Phoenix have the leasing assignment.
