A local construction and rental equipment dealership, Tucson Tractor Company, has joined the Titan Machinery Inc. network.
Current Tucson Tractor Company employees will continue to serve area businesses, and location management will remain with current store manager Gary Chilinski.
Tucson Tractor Company co-owners, Malcolm Forbes and John Orr, are retiring from their long careers in the construction equipment business. They have owned the dealership for a quarter-century.
“I talked with a number of companies about my desire to sell and retire,” Forbes says, “and Titan was the best fit. Titan knows our business, will take care of our employees and will take care of our customers. Titan is a good company.”
Chilinksi has been with Tucson Tractor Company for seven years. Staying as store manager, he ensures a smooth transition for customers and employees.
“We’ve done an excellent job with product support,” Chilinski says, “but with the additional resources from Titan, we’ll improve our customer support even more. We’re excited to be a part of the Titan family.”
David Meyer, Titan Machinery’s Chairman and CEO, said, “We are excited to expand our construction equipment footprint in the Southwest with the acquisition of Tucson Tractor Company. The dealership is well located to serve a vast area and has strong market potential for new and used construction equipment, parts and service sales, as well as for associated rental demand.”
As part of the Titan Machinery network, the Tucson dealership has access to resources that have resulted in the award-winning service Titan Machinery is known to deliver. Customers can expect well-stocked parts departments, the best service from trained technicians, a greater selection of equipment and a full line of rental equipment with access to all Titan Machinery inventories across the upper Midwest, Northern Plains and Rocky Mountains.
Customers will also benefit from the Tucson location belonging to the same dealership network as Titan Machinery’s existing Case construction equipment location in Phoenix. With shared service fleets, customers may receive quicker in-field repairs.
The Tucson dealership is located on Grant Road, west of Interstate 10.
