Commercial Investment Real Estate (CIRE) Equity announced five new tenants at Park West in Peoria. FOREVER 21, Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, Koi Poke, Orange Theory Fitness and Creamistry are all slated to open soon. The lifestyle outdoor shopping center is also about to get a massive renovation, valued at over $4 million, solidifying it as a prominent destination for dining, fitness and entertainment in Metro Phoenix. Phase 1 of the renovations are scheduled to be completed by spring 2019 with a grand re-opening of the property scheduled for fall 2019.

“Park West is an incredible location with easy access to the freeway in the heart of the West Valley,” said Jonathan Yee, senior property manager for CIRE at Park West. “This is a beautiful property loaded with potential, and we’re just getting started.”

Popular retail store FOREVER 21 is expected to open fall 2019. The 14,473 square-foot building, previously a vacant space, will be gutted and renovated. FOREVER 21 is the 5th largest specialty retailer in the United States and specializes in popular clothing and accessories for women, men and kids. It will be located near award-winning fashion retailers, Victoria’s Secret and Chico’s. The main intersection of Park West will be the center’s new retail core.

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers will take up space at the north side of the shopping center. The 5,500 square foot restaurant will include an expanded patio with rolling garage doors that give an indoor/outdoor experience during cooler weather. The restaurant is expected to open January 2019.

Koi Poke is expected to open spring 2019. The restaurant will have two entrances, one entering from Brighton and another near the brand new splash pad area. The patio will overlook the new plaza being built at Park West. The large patio will give customers a great option to sit and people watch as they enjoy Koi’s signature customizable poke bowls.

Orange Theory Fitness also has plans to open at Park West in early 2019. The renovated space will encompass 2,882 square feet and will be located on the east side of the complex near popular wellness businesses The Joint and Massage Envy. Orange Theory Fitness burns an estimated 500 to 1,000 calories in 60 minutes and keeps burning calories for up to 36 hours. Orange Theory Fitness, The Joint and Massage Envy will be the foundation for the new health and wellness block of the businesses on the east side of Park West.

“It isn’t just the new businesses coming to Park West that people are going to be excited about,” Yee said. “The renovations are going to enhance the landscape of this entire venue.”

Part of the exterior renovations will include a completely new plaza. At the center of Park West are plans for a splash pad in the shape of an agave flower, which mimics the redesigned logo of the shopping center, set to be completed by the end of this year. Wood-lattices outfitted with misters or vines will create shade and line the walkways throughout Park West. Two new 60-foot pylon signs will adorn either side of the Loop 101 freeway with markers showcasing Harkins Theaters and enough space for more tenant signs. Two new monument signs will sit right at the exits along Northern and 99th avenues. Construction is expected to be completed this spring.

Park West is conveniently located just off the Loop 101 at Northern Ave. Additional information can be found at www.shopparkwest.com or on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
