Maravilla Scottsdale, a resort-style retirement community with an innovative approach to senior living, recently celebrated its grand opening with a private reception for guests and residents.
With more than 400 invitees in attendance, the event featured a proclamation read by Scottsdale City Councilwoman Suzanne Klapp formally commemorating Senior Resource Group’s (SRG) commitment to elevating the standards of luxury living and care for retirees in north Scottsdale.
Maravilla Scottsdale is SRG’s seventh community in Arizona, and its first in Scottsdale. The Weitz Company was general contractor and Allen + Philps was the architect.
Since opening adjacent to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and Tournament Players Club (TPC) Stadium Course, Maravilla Scottsdale has forged strong, collaborative relationships with those entities.
It also enjoys a partnership with Scottsdale Healthcare and an alliance with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Arizona State University that made it possible for the institute to expand to Scottsdale with a series of university-level, non-credit courses and lectures for students 50 and older.
Maravilla Scottsdale’s continuum of care community, consisting of 217 residences, includes a mix of Casita and Courtyard residences offering independent living, assisted living and memory care (Alzheimer’s/dementia) residences.
