Developer, SB2-VB, LLC continues to move full steam ahead with its highly anticipated Live+Work+Play project, Verde at Cooley Station in Gilbert. On Tuesday, the developers announced three new tenants to their modern main street community.

The development is currently anticipating an initial opening in Q4 of 2021, but is already locking up tenants. Verde will be the centerpiece of the 650-acre Cooley Station development, encompassing almost 150,000 square feet of commercial space and 450 multi-family residential units. It is located at the southwest corner of E. Williams Field Rd. and S. Recker Rd., near the Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

Among the new tenants is Angel Touch Nails, a nail care services salon catering to those interested in top line services in a spa-like facility. Angel Touch Nails is dedicated to providing health and safety guidelines within a comfortable spa atmosphere. Safety features such as physical distancing markers, sanitizers, along with staff masks and gloves will be implemented for the health and safety of their nail spa guests.

Also, committing to Verde at Cooley Station is Los Primeros, LLC, which intends to operate a dramatic full-service Mexican restaurant, serving authentic Mexican cuisine and featuring a unique outside garden dining patio and Tequila bar.

Adding to their list, Verde will also welcome Vitality Bowls Superfood Café, a fast-casual health food restaurant. This will be the first unit in the Greater-Phoenix market for Vitality Bowls, which has a strong commitment to bringing health and wellness through fresh, high-quality superfoods.  Menu items include Açai bowls, and other antioxidant-rich menu items including, smoothies, fresh juices, soups salads and paninis.

The three new tenants join the likes of other restaurants committed to Verde, including the trendy Japanese restaurant, OBON , the Valley’s very own West Alley BBQ, and the tasty ice cream creations of Cookies & Cream.

Future Verde tenants, visitors, residents, and neighborhood friends can also look forward to the developer’s new focus and ability to create a COVID-19 preventative environment throughout the community. New designs and innovative features are being implemented so that outdoor spaces are maximized.

Norm Brody, a managing member of the developer, SB2-VB, LLC, says, “The continued interest in Verde at Cooley Station is a recognition that our Gilbert community is strong. Verde at Cooley Station is designed with a vision to withstand similar challenges to what everyone has experienced over the past six months. We are creating a neighborhood gathering place focused on health and wellness where people of all ages can live, work, play and shop within a modern Main Street USA environment.”

In the coming weeks, SB2-VB, LLC plans to announce several other dining establishments and other new tenants to the Verde at Cooley Station community. Those details will be announced on their Instagram page and website.
