LGE Design Build has completed the construction of Livewire, Arizona’s newest premier 14,000-square-foot live music venue bringing fresh nightlife to the former development known as Axis/Radius in the entertainment district of Scottsdale.
Livewire, located at 7340 E. Indian Plaza, includes a stage, two interior bars and a second floor balcony fronting the street. Livewire also has a box office and a first floor retail booth to sell shirts and souvenirs. With capacity to entertain more than 1,100 people, national touring acts and select up-and-coming local bands play at Livewire.
“Livewire is designed to exceed to the customer base’s expectations of Old Town Scottsdale with engaging spaces to foster nightlife activity, plenty of sightlines to the street and captivating lighting, creating a stunning music venue,” said David Sellers, president of LGE Design Build.
Next door at Bottled Blonde, LGE completed renovations in 2014 for the pizzeria and beer garden’s open bar area, patio areas near the sidewalks and an open casual setting around a fireplace. Bottled Blonde serves a contemporary Italian menu at picnic-style tables.
Evening Entertainment Group of Scottsdale operates Livewire and Bottled Blonde, which are both open.
AV3 Design of Phoenix served as the project architect and interior designer.
LGE’s other projects in Old Town Scottsdale include Triyar Phase I & 2 (a three-building, 12,500-square-foot restaurant/retail project), Scottsdale Retail Plaza Phase I (four retail, restaurant, bar and nightclub venues), Mint and Lo- Lo’s Chicken & Waffles.
