Legacy Traditional Schools announced the opening of three new, tuition-free public K-6 charter schools in Arizona in fall 2021.

The campuses will be located in Mesa (southeast corner of Val Vista and McKellips); Deer Valley (near the I-17 at Union Hills & 27th Ave.); and East Tucson (E. Golf Links Rd. and S. Harrison Rd.).

Groundbreaking ceremonies for the new campuses will be held at 1 p.m. on the following dates:

Legacy Traditional School-Mesa: Monday, January 25

Legacy Traditional School-East Tucson: Tuesday, January 26

Legacy Traditional School-Deer Valley: Wednesday, January 27

Each location will enroll up to 600 students and serve grades K-6. In total, each school will span approximately 40,000 square feet across 4-6 acres.

Like every Legacy school, the new campuses will provide a tuition-free, rigorous and well-rounded curriculum that emphasizes all areas of academic study, including the arts, physical education and extensive athletics and extracurricular activities.

The opening of the three new schools brings to 19 the total number of Legacy campuses in Arizona.
