LGE Design Build recently completed construction of the 9,566-square-foot Desert Shores Pediatrics in Gilbert.
The single-story doctor’s office is located on 1.15 acres at 6285 S. Higley Road. The facility includes a central nurse’s station with workstations for doctors in addition to more than 20 exam rooms.
“We moved a block from our former location and doubled the square footage of our practice. Gilbert is a growing area for pediatrics so staying nearby was important,” said Dr. Christie Holmes, president of Desert Shores Pediatrics. “We enjoyed working with LGE’s streamlined process. The final product is a light, bright and welcoming environment for children.”

The facility features an ocean theme with wood plank flooring and wall graphics of beach scenes in the exam rooms.
“We applied a California beach theme to the pediatric practice including features such as clapboard siding, white trim and trellises. The beach aesthetic is the starting point for our design vision which we carry throughout the facility,” said Vince Dalke, principal at LGE Design Group.
LGE Design Group served as the architect. Iconic Design Studio of Phoenix served as the interior designer.
