Parkland Development, LLC (Tigard, OR) announced it will break ground in March on Park 10, a 43-acre, mixed-use project located on the northeast corner of I-10 and 107th Avenue in Avondale. The announcement corresponds to the signing of the project’s first anchor tenant, Main Event Entertainment, the fastest growing bowling-anchored entertainment center in America, whose unique “Eat.Bowl.Play.” experience includes state-of-the-art bowling, laser tag, more than 100 games, dining options and a full service bar. Main Event signed a lease for ±58,229 square feet in Phase 1 of the Park 10 project which includes ±10-acres on the eastern edge of the property, adjacent to 103rd Avenue. In addition to the Main Event building, Phase 1 will include three outparcel grade pads along McDowell Road.

According to Su Moran, President of Parkland Development, “We are very excited to break ground on Park 10. This project will be a landmark development for the City of Avondale and the West Valley. Main Event will be a gathering place for residents of all age groups and the ideal venue for corporate events.” Development plans for Park 10 includes pads for sale, ground lease or build-to-suit for retail, office and medical buildings, as well as a four-story hotel proposed for Phase 2 that would be adjacent to I-10. DTZ’s John Appelbe, Tom Weinhold, Jeff Wentworth and Melynn Wakeman have the marketing assignment for the Park 10 project.
