HomeSmart Phoenix has acquired Arizona Preferred Realty and its 51 agents in Gilbert, Ariz., expanding its total network agent count to nearly 16,000 agents. HomeSmart is transitioning Arizona Preferred Realty and its agents to be part of its Phoenix brokerage.
“Bringing on these quality agents from Arizona Preferred Realty, further expands our strong agent presence in the East Valley,” said HomeSmart COO Wendy Forsythe. “We are excited to get them up-and-running on HomeSmart’s technology and systems which we know will enable them to not only better serve their clients, but also help them grow their individual businesses.”
The acquisition of Arizona Preferred Realty is part of HomeSmart’s continued focus on hyper-growth. Already recognized by Real Trends 500 as the No. 5 company for transactions and No. 7 company for volume in the U.S., HomeSmart also ranks in the Franchise Business Review Top 200, Swanepoel Power 200 and Inc. 5000 fastest growing private companies.
“After many successful years serving the East Valley, I’m ecstatic to have our brokerage join HomeSmart, one of the nation’s fastest-growing real estate companies,” said owner and broker of Arizona Preferred Realty Paul Stetka. “I know our agents and their clients stand to benefit from HomeSmart’s innovative tools, technology and local and national notoriety.”
Through the acquisition, agents from Arizona Preferred Realty will be licensed to HomeSmart’s existing Gilbert office location on South Val Vista Drive and have access to all 12 of HomeSmart’s valleywide office locations.
“I constantly tell our staff we are always on the lookout for brokerages and agents we know will be successful with our innovative brokerage technology and tools,” said HomeSmart founder and CEO Matt Widdows. “The acquisition of Arizona Preferred Realty demonstrates that commitment and also shows our confidence in the market on our way to a record 2019.”
This acquisition follows HomeSmart’s 2017 acquisition of Cherry Creek Properties in Denver, and the 2018 acquisition of former Coldwell Banker Trails and Paths in Mesa, Ariz.
