SVN Phoenix closes 2015 with $4.5M in deals

SVN’s Phoenix office closed out 2015 with $4.5 million worth of sales and leases through collaborative efforts by its retail, office and multifamily teams.


Michael Gustafson sold 18,585 square-feet to Pete Coury with Jabbel Holdings, LLC for $2,565,555. The retail property is located at 2737 W. Thunderbird Rd. The Best Buy shops are well-known for its location that sits right off the I-17 freeway and Thunderbird Road. The buyer was represented by the SVN Office in Phoenix. Sheila Hunter with First American Title handled the sale transaction.

Justin Horwitz and Jonathan Levy sold 6,748 square-feet to James Rizzo in the amount of $510,000.  The office property sale consisted of three office suites located at 17437 N. 71st Dr. in the Arrowhead Tech Center building. The seller, Michael McConnell with the Michael P McConnell/Jeri-Lynne Jones Trust was represented by Horwitz and Levy from the SVN Phoenix office. Kristin Guadagno with Lawyers Title National Commercial Services handled the sale transaction.

Multifamily advisor, Carrick Sears, sold multiple units at La Mirada Condos for a total amount of $290,000.  The property is located at 1350 E. Northern Ave. in Phoenix. Eleven units were sold to one buyer, Kari Sorboro Trustee of the Kari Sorboro Living Trust.

Danny Lee, Partner and Vice-President sold two properties for a total of $380,000. The property locations are located off 28th Drive, just north of Camelback Road.  The buyers, Eric Guina with Guina Ahorros, LLC have been Lee’s long-time investors over the years.  Thomas Title & Escrow handled both of these transactions.


Michael Gaida leased 1,053 square-feet retail space to American Family Insurance business at 13915 N. Dysart Road. in El Mirage. The landlord, Casa Mirage Properties, LLC was represented by the SVN phoenix office and the tenant was represented by Huff & Associates, Inc.

Paul Borgesen and Justin Horwitz has leased 1,146 square-feet at 2600 N. 44th St. in Phoenix.  The suite in the Camelhead Business Center was leased to Roncancio Wealth Management, Inc.  The landlord, Robert Cassleman was represented by the SVN Phoenix office.

Justin Horwitz and Jonathan Levy has leased 500 square-feet 8601 N. Black Canyon Hwy. in Phoenix to single tenant, Patti J. Farris with Farris Bookkeeping and Tax Services.  The landlord, Danmat Investment, LLC was represented by SVN in the lease deal.

Mary Nollenberger (Ridberg) and Rommie Mojahed leased 4,132 square-feet at Union Hills Square to Somone Johnson with Strong Money, LLC. The property is located at 8190 E. Union Hills Dr. in Glendale. The landlord was represented by the Retail team with SVN in Phoenix.

Rommie Mojahed and Mary Nollenberger (Ridberg) leased 11,700 square-feet to M & M Sports and Recreation, LLC.  They both represented the landlord, Palm Court Investments, LLC in Mesa. The property is located at the Palm Court Center at 255 W. Warner Rd. in Chandler.

Mary Nollenberger (Ridberg) and Rommie Mojahed leased 2,801 square-feet to Andrew Ash with Back in Action of Scottsdale, LLC.  The property is located at Union Hills Square at 8110 W. Union Hills Drive in Glendale.  The advisors represented the landlord, 8110 Union, LLC Nat Dog Arizona in the transaction.

Paul Borgesen and Justin Horwitz has leased 4,423 square-feet to Greg Hancock with Hancock Enterprises.  The office suite at Camelback Business Center at 2600 N. 44th St. was the second suite to be leased at this office building.  The advisors represented the landlord, Robert Casselman in the deal.

Senior advisor, Justin Horwitz was the sole advisor in this lease deal at Canyon Creek.  The property lease was 2,488 square-feet of office space located at 206 W. Campbell Rd. in Richards, Texas.  He worked on the deal with David Dunn, with Dunn Commercial at another SVN office in Arlington, Texas.

Michael Gaida co-brokered the lease deal of 4,551 square-feet to Erika Pizarro with From Time 2 Time, LLC. The property location at Sun Valley Plaza II is located at 7440 E. Main Street in Mesa.  Gaida represented the landlord, Monsoor Alyeshmerni Trust in the lease deal.

Ryan Mojahed was involved in the lease deal referral with Kevin Matthews and Troy Meyer with Denver Commercial, another SVN office in Denver, Colorado.  No other information was available at the time of transaction statement.
