The Phoenix Business Unit of Trammell Crow Company (TCC), one of the nation’s largest commercial real estate developers and investors, along with capital partner Clarion Partners, LLC. announces that it has broken ground on Cowden Logistics Center in Tolleson, Arizona. The industrial project will offer 285,131 square feet of logistics space in Phoenix’s Southwest Valley submarket.

Located at 420 S 104th Avenue, the development sits on a 16.1-acre site and is located 1.5 miles south of the Interstate 10 Freeway. The facility includes 36’ clear height, 237 car parking stalls, 41 trailer parking stalls, five points of ingress and egress, R-38 insulation, and an ESFR sprinkler system.

“We are excited to grow our portfolio of best-in-class logistics facilities in the Metro Phoenix market. We have seen consistent user demand in recent years and expect that trend to continue,” said Cullen Mahoney, a vice president with TCC’s Phoenix Business Unit. “Since 2012, we have invested over $300 million of capital into the industrial sector in Phoenix and we will continue to seek new opportunities that fit within our investment criteria.”

Cowden Logistics Center is situated just off the Interstate 10 and Loop 101 Freeways and is a short drive to the Loop 202 Freeway. The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is a 20-minute drive from the site.

The project is being designed by Butler Design Group and Wespac Construction is the project’s general contractor. Phil Haenel, Mike Haenel, and Andy Markham of Cushman and Wakefield are handling the leasing.
