Sundt Construction, Inc. recently hired Tom Case as senior vice president, civil group. Case will lead Sundt’s civil group to meet its expansion goals, both in terms of work portfolio and presence in new geographic areas.
Case, a well-respected member of the industry and current chairman of the Highway & Transportation Division for the Associated General Contractors of America Board of Directors, joins Sundt with more than three decades of construction experience.

Prior to joining Sundt, Case spent 27 years working with one of the largest diversified heavy civil contractors in the United States, where he most recently held the position of senior vice president of operations and services. During his tenure he also was named to the position of executive corporate officer, in which he provided oversight and support services for the company’s nationwide operations. A third generation contractor, Case worked his way up the industry ranks holding a variety of titles, including project engineer, estimator, project manager and senior project manager, among many others.
Case holds a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.
