In the 1980s, teenagers and adults flooded Valley malls for shopping, dining and entertainment.  They were weekend destinations and evolved over the years to meet the changing demographics and shopping habits of locals and tourists.  Today, large scale commercial developers are updating the look, feel and experience of these centers.  In October, we will hear from some of the Valley’s top development companies who are leading the evolution.

The Friday Morning Breakfast panel includes Larry Pobuda, Senior Vice President of The Opus Group, who will talk about their new mixed-use project in Downtown Tempe.  Macerich’s Scott Nelson will share coming attractions and strategy on the investments mixed use redevelopment of Scottsdale Fashion Square.  Vestar’s Rick Hearn will provide updates on Desert Ridge and Jami Savage will provide the leasing perspective about what’s coming here and what works.
