Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona announced SimonCRE has donated $100,000 to support the nonprofit’s mission of fighting unemployment in Arizona. The money will be used to support mission services through its career centers, hiring events, and various workshops geared toward job seekers.

“We are so appreciative of SimonCRE’s donation,” said Tim O’Neal, CEO of Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. “They are a great new partner and this gift is incredible. We will be able to provide more skills training and job placements to people right here in the community. It will help empower individuals, strengthen their families, and raise the economic outlook of our region by creating a more vibrant community for us all.”

Donations and purchases to Goodwill help support the non-profit’s efforts to provide thousands of Arizonans each year access to job preparation resources and connections to hundreds of local hiring companies. In 2017, Goodwill helped connect more than 45,000 Arizonans to jobs.

“Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona does so much to provide opportunities to the communities it serves and we’re beyond excited to be a small part of that,” said Joshua Simon, Founder, and CEO of SimonCRE. “We hope this goes a long way in helping to change lives and strengthen communities.”
