New home sales are on the rise. During the first three months of this year, Shea Homes reports sales of 151 new homes, compared with 58 new homes sold during the same time period last year, a 160 percent increase.

“We’re extremely pleased with the surge in new home sales,” said Ken Peterson, VP of Sales and Marketing for Shea Homes. “Our three new communities in the West Valley, Desert Intrigue and Desert Ambition, have been extremely popular, as has the third phase of homes at Vista Montana.”

The top five Shea Homes communities by sales volume in Q1 2015 are Inspire at Greer Ranch (Surprise), Intrigue at Greer Ranch (Surprise), Ridgeview at Johnson Ranch (San Tan Valley), Evolve at Marbella Vineyards (Gilbert) and Retreat at The Bridges (Gilbert).

“We’re seeing great demand on both ends of the spectrum, with sales volume up for our entry level homes as well as our luxury homes. This is all good news as it relates to the comeback of the Phoenix housing market,” said Peterson.
