National law firm Polsinelli has added corporate attorney Jamie Cole to its Phoenix office. She joins a national team of corporate lawyers who practice collaboratively across the country on complicated merger and acquisitions in a variety of industries. Cole advises private and publicly-held companies on domestic and cross-border general corporate and transactional matters, and joins a growing Phoenix office.

“We are excited to add Jamie to our team. She brings with her both legal capabilities and a
strong commitment to our community that our firm values,” said Phoenix Managing Partner Ed Novak.

Cole works closely with businesses on entity formation, corporate governance, commercial
contracts, mergers, stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures. Her experience spans a variety of industries, including the renewable energy sector.

“Jamie’s corporate governance and transactional experience, particularly with renewable energy clients, is an excellent complement to our Phoenix office. We look forward to further expanding the corporate services we provide to our business clients in Arizona and throughout the Southwest,” said Business Services Division Chair Trip Frizell.

Exposed at an early age to corporate matters, Cole worked collectively with her family to help grow the family-owned business into a leading international instrumentation company. Her love of business and her desire to help companies solve problems is part of what attracted her to the firm.

In addition to her entrepreneurial roots, Cole is a civil servant at heart. Prior to attending law school she was a NREMT-paramedic and a police officer in Ohio, and today she parlays her legal knowledge for the National Veterans Legal Services Program representing veterans returning home from combat when applying for Combat Related Special Compensation.
“It is immensely rewarding to help veterans navigate the complicated application process,” said Cole.

Cole earned her law degree from the Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court team and a Research Editor for the Journal of Law and Health. Cole is a member of the Arizona and Ohio Bars.
