Peggy Baze, notmykid board member and founder of Artful Giving, another local nonprofit recently partnered with Tony Gibson, a local artist and donor to create a beautiful Giving Tree at notMYkid’s corporate office in Scottsdale, Arizona. The new mural is located at 5230 East Shea Blvd., Suite 100 Scottsdale, AZ 85254.
Notmykid recognizes the importance of its donors and their lifelong impact through their philanthropic giving on the youth we serve through our peer to peer education and prevention model. Our presentations aim to educate youth, empower them with knowledge and resources, and inspire them to make positive life choices.
Our programs follow the IMBR peer-to-peer model: Information, Motivation, Behavior Skills, and Resources. The Peer Educators share an appropriate, relatable personal story around each teaching point. There are also moments of audience interaction throughout the presentation. Every presentation teaches on a wide variety of coping skills and resources available to the youth. NotMYkid also supplies take-away Resource Cards for every youth to keep after the presentation.
These presentations in hundreds of schools annually would not be possible without the generosity of our donors.

A native of Arizona, Peggy Baze has been active in the commercial real estate and investment industries for nearly 30 years. Peggy recently discovered a talent for art and in 2014 she founded the non-profit, Artful Giving, whose mission is to use art to help create sustainable revenue for charities focused on children and families in the community. Peggy’s original artwork has been replicated in notecard form in a campaign for UMOM, the largest homeless shelter in Arizona. Some of Peggy’s original artwork is also featured in the Governor’s Office for Children, Youth and Families.
