Hundreds of Risas Dental & Braces dentists and staff will be volunteering their time this Labor Day to provide free dental services to thousands of people in need of dental care across the Valley.

On Monday, September 5, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. the Phoenix-based healthcare company will host its 5th annual Labor of Love Day event, which plans to provide $325,000 in free services. Attendees are given the opportunity to choose from one of four free treatments including a basic teeth cleaning, cavity filling, tooth extraction or a complete exam with X-rays. In addition, participants will receive oral hygiene instruction.  
 
For those patients who need further treatment, the friendly Risas staff will be on-site to provide follow-up communication and coordination of additional care regardless of each participant’s insurance status or ability to pay. Since its inception, Risas Dental & Braces has been committed to making quality dentistry and flexible treatment options accessible and affordable to all.  
 
 “At Risas our measurement for success is unconventional,” says Managing Director Jeff Adams. “We give to grow. The more communities we reach and the more care we provide to people who would otherwise go without, the more accomplished we feel as a company.”  
 
Since Risas’ first event in 2011, they’ve donated more than $2.25 million in free dental care by the all-volunteer staff.  
 
The number is only expected to grow through the next year because of the dental group’s expansion plan. One of the fastest growing companies in its industry, Risas has opened 14 locations in just five years and is planning to open at least three new locations in the next six months.  
 
“We don’t want to get credit for being the fastest growing dental company in the country,” says Adams. “We want to be known for being the company that treats its patients and employee’s the best, and the company that’s able to reach more and more communities, especially those that need it the most.”
