Web.com will anchor SkySong development expansion

Web.com, a leading provider of Internet services and online marketing solutions for small businesses, is relocating and becoming the anchor tenant at the new SkySong 4 following its 2016 acquisition of a previous tenant in the development, Yodle.

Web.com’s new space will be used primarily for sales, administration and local executives. With Web.com’s presence, SkySong 4 is now 72 percent leased.  With its nearly 200 employees in Scottsdale (and 3,500 company-wide), Web.com will occupy 36,503 square feet in SkySong 4.

Sethuraman “Panch” Panchanathan, Senior Vice President for Knowledge Enterprise Development at Arizona State University — which is responsible for advancing research, entrepreneurship, innovation and economic development — said that Web.com’s presence is proof that the SkySong vision is continuing to become a reality.

The Lee & Associates team of Craig Coppola, Andrew Cheney and Gregg Kafka represented SkySong’s collective ownership in the transaction.  Web.com was represented by the Cushman & Wakefield team of Peter Trivelas, Dev Gupta and Gary Ceder.

SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center is home to a global business community that links technology, entrepreneurship, innovation, and education to position ASU and Greater Phoenix as global leaders of the knowledge economy.

SkySong is a 42-acre mixed use development designed to:

In addition to locating its own innovative research units at the center, through ASU’s on-site operations, tenant companies have a single point of contact for introductions to researchers, faculty and programs to address their specific needs.
