Mark Drinkwater is bringing a twist to the modern Italian dining experience with his newest development, Stella. Famous in the Arizona restaurant scene, Mark Drinkwater has revived former restaurant, Central Bistro, and brought Stella to life with a thoughtfully crafted, passionately prepared menu, created to marry both the traditional and contemporary.

Stella is now the new home of Executive Chef Robert Eckhardt, formerly of Drexyl. Robert is a familiar face in Scottsdale; his experience as a highly accredited chef in the city has followed him from restaurants such as, Lon’s at The Hermosa Inn, and the adorned golf club restaurants at Tonto Verde, Las Sendas, and Desert Mountain.  Robert is known for cultivating plates full of creativity and designing a menu just as unique and trendy as the space he whips up his famed dishes in.

With exposed brick walls, beautiful marble countertops, and an intimate patio full of greenery, Stella creates an ambiance entirely focused around the guests. Stella’s main menu boasts of everything from Wood Burning Pizzas, Classic Bolognese, to Sweet Balsamic Onion Glazed Pork Chop, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy! The brunch menu features dishes like sweet caramel and cinnamon monkey bread, and a savory Brunch Burger that is fully loaded with bacon, aged gouda, fried egg, and roasted garlic aioli . Not only does Stella offer a mouthwatering variety of small bites and entrees, the drink menu rivals the most well-known establishments in the Biltmore/Arcadia area.

Stella’s grand opening is Tuesday, August 23 at 3160 E. Camelback Rd., Phoenix.
