Renowned BBGM joins forces with MONOGRAM

BBGM, an internationally distinguished architecture and interior design firm based in Washington D.C., announced a merger with West Coast luxury hospitality interior design firm MONOGRAM. With the joining of these two industry leaders, BBGM further positions itself at the forefront of international high-end design, while maintaining their signature client-focused approach.

Since 1987, BBGM has made a name for itself with innovative hospitality, residential, and office design, staying on the cutting edge of the latest trends. While BBGM’s footprint is global, it has imprinted its signature style in D.C. with local landmark projects including The Watergate, Mandarin Oriental, W Hotel and Graham Hotel. With an expansion to the West Coast BBGM now hopes to deepen their impact in the luxury hospitality industry, both domestically and internationally.

“We see this merger as an opportunity to expand our bench of passionate architects and designers, allowing us to broaden our reach in a new and innovative way while ensuring our attention to clients remains at the highest level,” said Domenic Giordano, Principal of BBGM. “The Principal at MONOGRAM, Kathryn Mickel, is a talented designer, her depth of knowledge as well as unique approach to luxury interiors will be an asset to BBGM as we continue to globally grow our brand.”

MONOGRAM has distinguished itself as a boutique studio design firm with the talent and passion to make a lasting impact. Highly specialized in the field of luxury hospitality and resort design, they bring to BBGM a tight knit team of seasoned design professionals and a portfolio that ranges from spas in Hawaii and casinos in Aruba to luxury villas in Dubai.

“Joining with BBGM allows MONOGRAM to continue designing at a highly specialized level while increasing our capacity for new unique projects” said Mickel. “BBGM and MONOGRAM are a natural fit for one another as we both take an individualized client-based approach to innovative upscale design.”
