True Blood

Although I have a tendency to gravitate toward neutral colors, it’s fun to spice things up each season by introducing a new color into my life. This season, red is the color of choice!

Red is such a great color because it has so much depth and richness. An easy way to add this trend into your living space is by adding a few new accessories — like a great oxblood vase, or a beautiful red wool throw-over your bed. Play around with various accessories and have fun!

Heavily Knitted

Texture has always been my favorite thing to work with when designing a home. I love texture in unexpected places — like a great, crocodile-skin wallpaper.

This year, one of the top trends for fall are boxy, knitted, sculpted sweaters. I really love a great, knitted throw blanket for a bed. It’s a great way to add a lot of texture to a space without spending a lot of money.

Very Versailles

This gilded, embroidered trend is all over the runways. Luckily for me, I love gilded everything. Ornate and luxe velvets are always fun to have in your home. I love having these rich patterns and materials in my closet and around my home. A fun, gold mirror is always interesting to have in your home; or, bring gilded in with a small crystal box!
