A crowd of nearly 400 packed Chateau Luxe in Phoenix Thursday to honor 2016’s Most Admired Companies in Arizona.

“Our primary goal in developing the MAC program was to find and recognize those companies that set a standard of excellence that other businesses should aspire to achieve,” said AZ Big Media Publisher Cheryl Green. “We built the program to recognize those companies that have the biggest impact on the economy, on their employees and on the communities in which they do business. Arizona is filled with great servant leaders, innovators and forward-thinkers. This year’s MAC recipients embody those qualities.”
Seven of the Most Admired Companies were singled out for making the prestigious list for all seven years. They are: American Express, CBRE, Infusionsoft, Shutterfly, Sonora Quest Laboratories, Sundt and UnitedHealthcare.
“In addition to recognizing the 47 incredible companies that earned recognition as Arizona’s Most Admired Companies, we shined the spotlight on companies that have shown exceptional achievement in each of MAC’s judging criteria,” said AZ Big Media Editor in Chief Michael Gossie.
The spotlight categories are workplace culture, social responsibility, customer opinion, innovation and leadership excellence. Winners of the spotlight awards were:
