Mother Teresa Health Centre, known for its altruistic endeavors, recently conducted a significant free medical camp at Pillayarpatti Village. Thiru. A. Udhayakumar, President of the Pillayarpatti Panchayat Union, inaugurated the camp, which provided essential services to 227 individuals. Beneficiaries underwent tests such as sugar, hemoglobin, ECG, blood pressure, and Biothesiometer tests, while their height and weight were also measured to assess overall health. 

Follow-up treatments were recommended where necessary, with free medications provided to the underprivileged based on the doctors’ advice. This initiative, conducted in collaboration with the local Panchayat Union, exemplifies the Mother Teresa Health Centre’s unwavering commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and quality for rural communities.

3. GSBS Medical Trust

G.S.B.S MEDICAL TRUST (G.S.B. Sabha’s Medical Trust) stands as a beacon of accessible healthcare, operating four well-equipped medical centers in Dadar, Dharavi, and Mahim. Each year, during the Wadala Mutt committee’s Annual Day, the trust continues its tradition of organizing a free health camp, with this year’s event held at Dwarkanath Bhavan Hall on 26th January 2023. 

The camp offered a spectrum of free health check up, including blood sugar tests, blood pressure checks, ECGs, eye examinations, dental check-ups, gynecological consultations, and orthopedic advice, emphasizing the trust’s unwavering commitment to promoting holistic well-being within the community.
