“Jeff gave so much of his heart to Solid Rock and to the teens we serve,” said Alice and Sheryl Cooper, founders of Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock, in a joint statement.
“He loved this ministry. He loved this team, and he believed deeply in what God was doing here. We are grateful for his friendship, his faithfulness, and the legacy he leaves behind.”
Moore’s life and leadership helped shape Solid Rock’s mission to make an everlasting difference in the lives of teens, the Coopers said.
Throughout his years of service, he helped build and strengthen safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental creative sanctuaries where young people could gain confidence, discover purpose, and find belonging through music, the arts, dance, mentorship and faith.
Current CEO, Dr. Jack Pladdys, described Moore as an exceptional leader who laid an extraordinary foundation for Solid Rock’s future.
“It is a profound honor to carry forward the work of a leader like Jeff,” Pladdys said.
“His vision, faithfulness, and unwavering devotion to this mission established a legacy far greater than any one person. I am deeply inspired by the foundation he built and humbled by the responsibility to steward that legacy into Solid Rock’s next chapter.”
Moore was known for his steady presence, relational leadership, deep wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the young people served through Solid Rock. His influence extended across the organization’s staff, board, volunteers, donors, partners, alumni, families, and countless teens whose lives have been impacted by this mission. To many within Solid Rock, Moore was far more than an executive leader.
“Jeff’s leadership was marked by humility, devotion, and a genuine love for people,” said Dave Baldwin, chair of the Solid Rock board of directors.
“He helped carry Solid Rock through important seasons of growth and impact. His legacy will remain woven into the life of this organization for years to come.”
