Discover just how sustainable our region is, and the impact sustainability has on various sectors of our life and economy, during the 2017 SRP Forum —Sustainability in the PHX East Valley on Tuesday, May 23 at 11:30 a.m., at the Phoenix Marriott Tempe at The Buttes.

Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to keynote speaker Grady Gammage Jr. discuss his book, The Future of the Suburban City: Lessons from Sustaining Phoenix. Gammage will also share his thoughts on the broader issues of sustainability in places like the PHX East Valley.

In addition to being an author, Gammage has a wide range of experience in the fields of education, law and real estate. Gammage is a land-use lawyer and a Senior Fellow at ASU’s Morrison Institute, with an emphasis on urban growth and development. Gammage teaches at the Herger Institute for Design and the Arts and the College of Law. He was also was a member of the Central Arizona Project Board of Directors for 12 years.

Following the keynote remarks, a moderated panel of experts from a diverse range of backgrounds will engage in conversation to look at sustainability through many different lenses, from agriculture, business and entrepreneurship, municipal planning, economic di­versity, and more. The panelists, along with weekly announcements, will be revealed on East Valley Partnership’s Twitter (@EVPartnership) over the next two weeks.

• Tables of 10: $1,000 EVP Members, $1,250 Non-Members
