Stevens-Leinweber names Ryan Park as director of construction

Phoenix-based Stevens-Leinweber Construction (SLC) has promoted Ryan Park to Director of Construction, responsible for the oversight of all SLC construction activity and for supervising and mentoring project management and field staff to ensure long-term project and organizational success.

Ryan Park

This includes SLC’s full portfolio of active, award-winning tenant improvement and ground-up construction – a pipeline that in 2024 comprised almost 12 million square feet of space.

“Ryan’s well-rounded experience allows him to manage on-site construction with precision while also driving the broader market success of each SLC project,” said Stevens-Leinweber Construction, Inc. President and CEO Jamie Godwin. “That is not an easy task, but Ryan consistently meets and exceeds expectations, ensuring we deliver the best-in-class results that SLC is known for.”

Capitalizing on his understanding of the full construction cycle, Park oversees estimating, proposals, contract negotiations, pre-construction and project execution. He is also charged with developing and maintaining effective working relationships with SLC team members, subcontractors and clients, and building new relationships based on the company’s core values and purpose of Promises Made. Promises Kept.

“Ryan is an excellent leader, able to navigate a wide range of relationships while managing complex, high-profile construction assignments,” said Stevens-Leinweber Construction, Inc. Executive Vice President Erik Powell. “We’re fortunate to have him in this role and are confident in his ability to mentor and shape the next generation of  industry projects and professionals.”

SLC’s portfolio spans industrial, office, retail and medical development, including major industrial assignments and leading-edge office buildouts, designed and delivered to meet the elevated needs of today’s landlords, tenants and employees.

Recent deliveries by Stevens-Leinweber Construction include the C|303 Phase I, Goodyear AirPark Phase I, Empire 101, Via West Building D and Camelback 303 Logistics Center industrial projects, and tenant improvement deliveries for clients such as Merit Partners, ViaWest, Liberty Mutual, Clayco, Lessen, Alliance Bank and Parts Town.

Kelly Button

“Throughout the years, Kelly has earned a reputation for integrity, market expertise and a personal commitment to helping clients achieve their real estate goals,” said Jeff Casper, CBRE’s first vice president and Tucson market leader. “We are excited to bring her onto the commercial side of the business where she will continue that same dedication and service to her clients.”

Räkkhaus welcomes Missy Jones as director of design

Räkkhaus, the design-forward European architecture studio known for its rebellious spirit and emotionally resonant spaces, proudly announces the appointment of Missy Jones as Director of Design. Based in the Phoenix studio, Jones will lead the firm’s creative vision across a slate of ambitious national and international projects.

A fearless innovator with a deep commitment to place-based design, Jones is widely regarded for her distinctive aesthetic and cultural intelligence. She spent her formative years in New York at Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), where she played a key design role on landmark projects including Google’s Sunnyvale campus, Toyota Woven City, and the Hôtel des Horlogers in Switzerland—each merging radical form with deep urban purpose. She continued her trajectory in Arizona, spearheading design efforts at Weddle Gilmore and Architekton, where she honed her passion for storytelling through architecture.

“I’ve always believed the best design provokes emotion and reveals meaning,” said Jones. “At Räkkhaus, I’m excited to create work that’s daring, deeply grounded, and globally relevant.”

Jones thrives within Räkkhaus’ unorthodox, mission-driven culture—where design is a tool for revolution and empathy is central to form. Her appointment marks a bold deepening of the firm’s commitment to pushing architectural boundaries while remaining rooted in the human experience.

“Missy is one-of-one,” said Zac Cohen, Creative Director of Räkkhaus. “She’s fearless—pushing the limits of what’s possible to craft spaces that hit with emotion and tell a story. Every project she touches gets sharper, bolder, more alive. Her design intuition is unmatched, and her presence elevates the entire studio.”
