Valley Partnership is accepting grant proposals from local nonprofits looking to have their facilities renovated. The 2016 Valley Partnership Community Project will be accepting grants through March 18.
“We’re very excited about the Valley Partnership Community project for 2016,” said Aaron Parenica, 2016 co-chair for the Community Project. “We’re looking for applicants who provide a critical service to their community, whatever service that may be and wherever in the Valley they may be located.”
Last year, Florence Crittenton’s Scottsdale Girls Ranch Campus was the Community Project recipient. For the last 27 years, Valley Partnership donated $3.5 million to organizations around the valley through the community project.
Nearly 200 volunteers participated last year. Since the project is volunteer based, Valley Partnership’s Community Project focuses on exterior enhancements to a nonprofits’ facility, Parenica said.
“Our goal is to find a charity that’s going to make the biggest impact on the community,” Parenica said.
