Lewis Roca Rothgerber LLP announced that Matthew Engle has been appointed to the Phoenix Arts and Culture Commission. The commission champions the development, promotion and sustainability of Phoenix’s vibrant cultural community.
Engle works in Lewis Roca Rothgerber’s business transactions practice group, where he counsels businesses and individuals on a broad array of corporate transactions, including structuring, negotiating, documenting and implementing mergers, acquisitions and commercial transactions; business formation; corporate governance; joint ventures; regulatory compliance and securities and franchise law.
An avid supporter of the arts, Engle is a member and past president of the Phoenix Symphony Young Professionals, a board member of the Phoenix Art Museum’s Friends of European Art and a member of the Phoenix Art Museum’s Men’s Arts Council, among other organizations.
The Phoenix Arts and Culture Commission is comprised of a diverse group of citizen volunteers appointed by the Mayor and City Council to advise on the development of arts and culture in Phoenix; it includes representatives from the cultural, business and education communities and the general public.
