Alliance Bank of Arizona names divisional chief credit officer
Alliance Bank of Arizona, a division of Western Alliance Bank, Member FDIC, today announced Nancy Zezza as the new Divisional Chief Credit Officer. In her role, Zezza will be responsible for overseeing Alliance Bank of Arizona’s loan portfolio by managing risk and asset quality.

With over 30 years of experience, Zezza is entrenched in the state’s banking community. By taking a balanced approach between growth and credit quality, she has led teams that have provided financial services and lending to Arizona-based businesses. Zezza also has deep industry experience in segment-specific initiatives including Gaming and Sovereign Nation lending.

McCarthy hires Russell Hulse
McCarthy Building Companies Inc. recently hired Russell Hulse as business development manager for the firm’s Southwest region Education Services team.
In this role, Hulse is responsible for relationship development with clients in the education community and assists division leaders in identifying new opportunities within the K-12 education sector and pursuing requests for proposals. Additionally, he builds teams and works with the Operations and Preconstruction department to lead McCarthy’s business development efforts with the objective of providing clients with the best options that deliver upon their school’s needs and budget.

Hypur hires two new directors in September
Hypur Inc. (Hypur), a payments, banking, and compliance solution technology for cash-intensive industries like cannabis and CBD, announce impressive recruitment in September. Adding two new members to the company, Hypur now boasts over 40 employees working out of the corporate HQ in Scottsdale.
Jo Moskow joins Hypur as Director of Product, where she will use her strategic thinking and experience in leading software and product teams, spearheading new developments in Hypur’s platform and technology. Her impressive career includes 16 years at Apple, progressing to Senior Engineering Program Manager. She then worked at TiVo for 11 years as a senior manager before moving from California to Arizona, working at Equiant Financial Services Inc as Managing Director of Product and Software.
Joseph Martin joins Hypur as Director of Compliance. He will oversee the AML and anti-fraud functions at Hypur, as well as manage relationships with financial institution partners. A US Marine Corp veteran, he served as BSA Officer at one of Alaska’s largest financial institutions and founded the Alaska Anti-Money Laundering Roundtable. He also held AML positions at Caesar’s Entertainment, Kharon, Exiger, and Kroll.

Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie attorney named emerging leader
Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP attorney, Cindy Villanueva, has been selected as the recipient of the Los Abogados’ 2019 Emerging Leader Award. Los Abogados, Arizona’s Hispanic Bar Association promotes diversity and the quality and administration of legal services for the Latino community.
Villanueva, a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, focuses on trademarks, copyrights, and rights of publicity. She assists clients with trademark selection, clearance, registration and prosecution in the United States and abroad. She has also prosecuted and defended clients in intellectual property litigation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and federal courts. She also negotiates and drafts license agreements and other contracts involving copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, and other intellectual property.
Villanueva serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Los Abogados and is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project. She is the Hispanic National Bar Association Region XIV President, which covers Arizona and Nevada. Villanueva is also a graduate of Valley Leadership, Class 39 and participated in Ladder Down, Class of 2014, as well as the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Latina Leadership Academy in 2016. She received a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine and her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law.
TPI appoints Lance Marram as SVP
TPI Composites, Inc., the only independent manufacturer of composite wind blades with a global footprint, announced today that it has appointed Lance Marram as Senior Vice President, Global Service, effective October 7, 2019. Lance will be responsible for developing and implementing TPI’s global service strategy working with TPI’s existing regional teams, collaborating with turbine OEMs as well as evaluating strategic acquisitions in the space.
Prior to joining TPI, Lance has spent nearly 20 years in the wind industry. Most recently, he was the Managing Director for Senvion North America. In this role he was responsible for sales, operations, and service. Prior to Senvion, Lance managed his own advisory company, E2M International, which focused on implementing new project development, operational management, and service globally for clients. Lance also served in various business development and operational roles domestically and internationally for Vestas and Gamesa.
