AZCREW begins 2020 with new leadership team

A bold strategic vision and new board members kick off 2020 for AZCREW.

AZCREW is Metro Phoenix’s premier real estate organization, focused on the advancement and success of women within the commercial real estate industry through leadership, professional relationships, education and excellence. AZCREW is part of the national CREW network.

The 2020 Board of Directors are Terry Martin-Denning, CEO/Designated Broker, NAI Horizon, President; Lindsey Carlson, Colliers International, President elect/programs chair; Heather Fox, CBRE, Treasurer/CREW Foundation chair; Lorna Bannister, KB Home, Secretary/sponsorship chair; Amber Coleman, CBRE, Director/PR/community outreach chair; Dana McDonald, Stewart Title, Director/membership chair; Francine Moore, Director/special events chair; and Jennifer Cranston, Gallagher & Kennedy, Past President/legacy chair.

Lincoln Property Co. adds Afton Trail

Lincoln Property Company (LPC) has hired industry veteran Afton Trail as Director of Property Management for the Desert West region. In her new role, Trail directs LPC’s Desert West portfolio of almost 10 million square feet of landmark office, industrial and retail space. She is also charged with identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow the LPC property management brand in the Desert West region states of Arizona, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico.

“Our Desert West property management portfolio is very diverse. It requires someone with equally strong industry knowledge to support our tenants and customers with the high-quality solutions they expect from Lincoln,” said Lincoln Property Company Executive Vice President David Krumwiede. “Afton has stepped into this role very successfully. We welcome her to the team and look forward to all she will do to continue our mission of excellence and help grow our property management footprint in the Desert West markets.”

Trail’s career spans almost 40 years in commercial real estate, including past roles in property management, asset management, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and talent management.

At LPC, she directs a team of more than 18 property management experts who provide service for a host of landmark projects. Among these are The Grand at Papago Park Center, 3131/3133 Camelback, Promenade Corporate Center, Luhrs City Center, Paradise Village Office Park and the ADOA and ADEQ buildings in downtown Phoenix, as well as 5 million square feet of industrial product.

Keith Gregory hired as director of housing for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe

Keith Gregory has been hired as the director of housing for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe.  In the role, Gregory will identify opportunities to create innovative and progressive new programming, develop housing options and expand homeownership opportunities for Pascua Yaqui tribal members, both on and off the reservation. 

Gregory brings 14 years of experience in both city and tribal settings, with expertise in strategic planning and execution, real estate development, business development and growth, process redesign, change management, regulatory compliance and financial management.

“The Pascua Yaqui Tribe is committed to providing opportunities for our tribal members to be homeowners,” said Robert Valencia, chairman of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. “Keith’s experience and expertise will be a great benefit to us.”

NorthMarq’s Phoenix office brings aboard Bryan Mummaw

Bryan Mummaw recently joined NorthMarq’s Phoenix-based regional office in the role of senior vice president. At NorthMarq, he will assist in the origination of debt and equity for owners of commercial and multifamily real estate. His experience in both financing and investment sales will benefit clients throughout the entire transaction process.

“I’m excited to join NorthMarq because of their entrepreneurial spirit, their wide array of capital products offered to clients, and synergies with the investment sales and servicing platforms,” said Mummaw.

“Bryan is a rising star in the industry and we are very excited to have him join our team,” said James DuMars, senior vice president/managing director of NorthMarq’s Phoenix office.

Mummaw previously served as a director for Berkadia’s mortgage banking group. In this role, he was primarily responsible for sourcing debt and equity for private capital clients. Between 2017 through 2019, Bryan was part of the Scottsdale Berkadia team that originated more than $1.9 billion in real estate transactions.
