Jessica Maziarz named partner at Bryan Cave

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner recently elected 23 new lawyers to partnership in the firm (effective January 1, 2019), bringing the number of partners firm-wide to 576. Locally, that includes Jessica Maziarz in the BCLP Phoenix office. Dr. Ann Mathias appointed associate chair at UA

After a national search, the University of Arizona Department of Family and Community Medicine and Banner – University Medicine have appointed Ann Mathias, DO, clinical assistant professor, as associate chair of clinical affairs.

In her new role, Dr. Mathias will oversee the clinical operations for all Banner – University Medicine family medicine clinics and family medicine clinical service lines.

“Dr. Mathias brings more than two decades of experience practicing in, and leading large family medicine practices to this key leadership role,” said Myra Muramoto, MD, MPH, professor and chair, UA Department of Family and Community Medicine. “In addition, she brings extensive expertise in quality improvement, practice improvement, new models of health-care payment, integrated behavioral health models and teaching residents and medical students. These skills are all essential to our practice going forward.”

Total Customized Revenue Management announces new hires

New hires include Shelley Maher, Director of Business Development and Client Relations and Marcela Trujillo, Senior Revenue Management Consultant. CEO Victoria McVay of Paradise Ridge Dentistry was recently selected to be eAssist’s latest Top Doctor Award Winner. The award is given each month to an eAssist client who meets the combined standards of exemplary service, patient care, as well as exceptional value in their service to their local community.

Victory McVay is a third generation native of Arizona and holds a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Maryland College Park, in addition to a bachelor’s from The University of Arizona and an Associate’s Degree in Fashion Design from the Emily Dickens School of Fashion in Denver, Colorado. She has over a decade working in the dental field and was the founder of Paradise Ridge Dentistry.
