McCarthy hires Ashley Codispoti

McCarthy Building Companies Inc. recently hired Ashley Codispoti as business development manager for the firm’s Southwest region Education Service team. 

In this role, Codispoti is responsible for relationship development with clients in the education community and assists division leaders developing new opportunities within the K-12 education sector. Additionally, she builds teams and works with the Operations and Preconstruction department to lead McCarthy’s business development efforts with the objective of providing clients with the best options that deliver upon their school’s needs and budget.

Healthcare Trust of America names marketing director

Healthcare Trust of America, Inc., the largest dedicated owner and operator of medical office buildings in the United States, announced that it has named Kim Brubeck as the new National Marketing Director.  In this role, Ms. Brubeck will guide the Company’s corporate and portfolio related marketing efforts in key demographic markets.

Ms. Brubeck was formerly the Principal at Bliss Media and the former Interim Chief Marketing Officer at Media Temple. She brings nearly 20 years’ global marketing and communications expertise and has worked with the AARP, NFL, NFLPA, Pepsi, California Dairy Farmers, Media Temple (now a GoDaddy company), and Geneva, Switzerland’s MCI. Since 2014, she has attended the TED conference in Vancouver, Canada annually as well as the other ancillary TED events around the globe.

NAI Horizon hires Antonio Carmona

NAI Horizon continues to grow its Phoenix office with the hiring of Antonio Carmona as Research and Marketing Specialist.

Carmona will assist NAI Horizon’s marketing and research department, retrieving, organizing, and analyzing market, demographic, and property-specific data. He will also assist in compiling marketing materials for current and prospective transactions.

Carmona, a recent graduate from the University of Arizona in Tucson, participated in a summer internship with Kowalski Construction, a Phoenix-based general contractor. He also served an internship in the marketing department at Robert Porter Construction in Phoenix. Carmona earned a BA in economics with a minor in mathematics from UA.

Skanska hires Michael Hawpe

Skanska, one of the world’s leading construction and development firms, recently announced that Michael Hawpe has been hired as a superintendent for its Phoenix office. 

In his new role, he will be responsible for building inspections, conducting safety meetings and monitoring safety throughout the duration of each project. He will also coordinate logistics, budget, design, value engineering exercises, and coordinate shut down of building systems in order to ensure zero facility interruptions.

Hawpe is currently working on Arizona State University Phase 1 of the NFAC plaza. He brings over 10 years of experience in the construction industry and was most recently a Superintendent at DPR Construction in Phoenix, Ariz.

2 executives join Trammell Crow

Trammell Crow Company and its residential subsidiary, High Street Residential, announces that Mona Nanda and Courtney Dunlap have joined the Company’s Phoenix Business Unit.

As Senior Associate, Mona will be primarily responsible for supporting new commercial development and investment opportunities throughout the greater Phoenix area with an emphasis on High Street Residential developments. Her areas of expertise include financial analysis, project underwriting, market research analysis and marketing. Mona received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona and a Master in Real Estate Development from Arizona State University.

Courtney will serve as a Development Manager for our growing High Street Residential developments in the Phoenix area, as well as assist in the evaluation of additional development project sites throughout Arizona. In this role, he will manage all construction related activities for the firm’s developments. Courtney’s areas of proficiency comprise of design-build, project management, and master-planning of commercial, retail, and residential spaces. Courtney earned his Bachelor of Science – Business Management degree from Oakland University.
