Meteor Crater Enterprises appoints new CEO

Following the retirement of Brad Andes, who served as President for over 20 years, Meteor Crater Enterprises is proud to welcome Dwayne Virgint as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1, 2018.

Dwayne Virgint joins Meteor Crater after serving as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer for Indian Pueblos Marketing, Inc. (IPMI), The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC) & Affiliated Companies in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the past twelve (12) years. During his tenure at IPMI, he was responsible for initiating multiple commercial developments on the 70+ acre site, as well as expansion of the IPCC, now the third most-visited attraction in the state.

Mr. Virgint will assume all job responsibilities as President of the company – not only for the day-to-day operations but providing a long-term vision for the company’s expansion plans. Dwayne brings with him executive leadership competencies that will enhance not only the operation of Meteor Crater but place them on a trajectory for increased growth and property development.

“I am extremely excited to initiate the next phase of growth in the history of the company. We have just broken ground on a 3-phase, $10M expansion, and I look forward to bringing my leadership and destination management skills to Meteor Crater,” states Mr. Virgint. 

A native of New York, Dwayne, his wife Jackie, and their rescue animals will make their home in Flagstaff, Arizona.  

Sports Business Solutions adds Adam Vogel

Sports Business Solutions and company president Bob Hamer announced the hiring of Adam Vogel to be Senior Director of Training & Development for the sports business consulting company. This marks the third hire for the company in the last 12 months.

Vogel, with his industry sales training and consulting expertise, is coming aboard to help the company keep up with the growing demand for its sports sales training services.  He’ll be tasked with, providing support to the company’s current list of more than 70 team and collegiate clients, as well as building new team partnerships. He’ll also be working to create new sales training programs designed to utilize mobile and virtual technology in an effort to help more teams and individuals succeed in sports sales.

“I’ve known Bob for a long time and have always considered him to be a trusted partner and mentor as I’ve grown my career in sports. What he’s built in only three and a half years is impressive and I wanted to be a part of it.  I truly feel that Sports Business Solutions has the bandwidth to alter the industry in a big way.” Said Vogel. Gust Rosenfeld added Jay R. Graif and Jennifer C. Kalvestran to its growing insurance coverage and defense practice. Jay and Jennifer bring impressive insurance coverage and litigation experience.

With their addition, Gust Rosenfeld increases its ability to service Nevada clients with its Las Vegas office. The firm now also has the ability to service clients in California with its Los Angeles office, where Jennifer has been and will continue to work full-time.

Jay focuses his practice on insurance coverage analysis, bad faith and commercial litigation. He has over 20 years of experience litigating complex commercial cases, with particular emphasis on the trial and appeal of insurance coverage disputes, including breach of contract, declaratory judgment and bad faith actions.

He has handled to resolution complex insurance matters in virtually every western state. In addition, he advises many local construction and real estate businesses on risk management and other areas of the law. He is an active member in many national and local organizations, including Claims and Litigation Management Alliance and Defense Research Institute.

Jennifer’s practice is focused on insurance coverage analysis, bad faith and litigation. With over 17 years of experience, she has handled insurance coverage matters and other various complex commercial litigation matters, including the defense of real estate, financial and medical services institutions.

Jennifer is involved in all aspects of litigation, including trial practice, mediations and depositions, and she brings a practical perspective to planning and executing these dispute resolution and litigation strategies. She has also successfully represented her clients in numerous matters on appeal before the California Appellate Court and Ninth Circuit.
