MJ Insurance expands Phoenix staff

MJ Insurance, one of the nation’s largest privately-held insurance agencies with more than five decades of success, has added two new team members to its Phoenix office, Brianne Carrillo and Amanda Schnettler.

Carrillo joins MJ Insurance as a risk transfer specialist, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and support to risk management clientele. Owning the marketing process, she’ll be working directly with risk analysis and client advocacy teams to create and execute risk management strategies and insurance programming.

Carrillo comes to the team with more than 11 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently working as an executive account specialist at Charles James Cayias Insurance in Salt Lake City. In this role, she was accountable for selling, managing and marketing new and existing accounts and handling contract negotiations with insurance carriers on an exclusive insurance program.

Schnettler joins the team as a client advocate, responsible for handling the day-to-day needs of risk management and personal insurance clientele while providing world-class customer service and risk transfer team support.

Previously, Schnettler worked as an insurance agent at O’Brien Insurance where she was responsible for field underwriting, risk management, issuing certificates of insurance, billing, processing account changes and endorsement requests. Most recently, she served as the director of business development at Spence, Cassidy & Associates where she led all marketing initiatives including creating branding, designing material for print advertising, social media, electronic communications, webinars, recruiting and organizing special events.
