Social Venture Partners Arizona (SVPAZ) named its new board at the start of this year. The select group of Valley business owners and leaders will implement the organization’s new strategic plan with a mission to build stronger philanthropists who work to strengthen Valley nonprofits, in turn deeply impacting our community. Board terms are for two years.
The newly named Chairman, Patrick Armstrong brings a focus on education initiatives to the Partnership. “There is more we can be doing to improve education in our communities; we need to identify innovative leaders and recognize those leaders so we can replicate the work for sustainable impact.”
“These sixteen leaders bring a depth and energy that’s needed in these uncertain times,” shared Terri Wogan-Calderón, SVPAZ Executive Director. “We’ve already made significant progress on several of our goals and I look forward to seeing how Patrick and his team continue to shape our sphere of influences.”
