Title: Director of business development, hardison/downey

Source of pride:The creation, with my counterpart at Kitchell, of Build FORE Good, our annual charity golf tournament. Over the past 6 years, our trade partners have helped us raise more than $600,000 for local charities. Handing over a big check every year to people who deserve it way more than I do feels pretty great.”

The personality trait that helped you succeed:I’m ultra-competitive … maybe to a fault sometimes. But my passion for succeeding and winning has helped both my personal career growth and — I hope — hardison/downey win work. Additionally, in a male-dominated industry, I have no problem taking crap…and I will give it right back, and then some!

The personality trait that got you into trouble:Did I mention that I’m super competitive?! I take losses hard and there’s been an occasion or two where I’ve had to leave the office to gather myself after a particularly big one. I just don’t understand why hardison/downey doesn’t get selected for every single project we pursue. We’re the best!”

Best childhood memory:As an adult I look back now on my childhood and really appreciate how lucky I was to have such an amazing family that was very comfortable, involved, and able to experience so many great things together. It set the foundation for who I am today as a wife and mother.”
