Background: Veach, CPA, is a Del Taco franchisee and developer who owns and operates 50 Del Taco restaurants with 925 employees. He operates in two markets —Arizona and Colorado. He began in 1999 by building and operating a single Del Taco restaurant in Phoenix.
Best part of the job: “It’s the people side. They say people are your biggest assets. Not every person is your your biggest asset, but the people side of it just ignites me. I thrive on the people side of the business and helping other people get better.”
Importance of relationships: “Relationships are everything in business, whether you’re in the finance world or or any other area. Business is all about relationships. It’s about the people, the customers, your employees, all the people in the business. It’s probably the No. 1 criteria to becoming successful in business.”
