Max Taylor
Chief accounting officer
NexMetro Communities
Background: Taylor serves as the chief accounting officer at NexMetro Communities and oversees all aspects of corporate finance, accounting and controllership, financial planning and analysis, tax compliance, financial reporting and treasury functions. In this capacity, Taylor is responsible for the strategic positioning of company assets and financial operations for the company’s sustained and responsible growth. Taylor has placed and actively managed more than $100 million in corporate debt facilities for strategic use throughout the company.
Best part of the job: “I’ve been with NexMetro Communities for seven years now and early on, we had to wear a ton of different hats because we started out as somewhat of a startup. There weren’t really many processes or the right way to do things. We could solve problems. We could create solutions. That has been really exciting and keeps me going throughout the years.”
