DoorDash joined the Super Bowl for the first time this year with a 60-second commercial that ran in the first quarter of the Big Game. Featuring Grammy and Tony award-winning actor and rapper Daveed Diggs alongside beloved Sesame Street Muppets Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Grover, and Rosita in a fun re-imagination of the famous “People In Your Neighborhood,” the campaign titled “The Neighborhood” celebrates local communities and spotlights the heroes that power them. For the first time, it also illustrates DoorDash’s expanded offerings and brand evolution from a food delivery company to a multi-category marketplace, delivering more to your door from restaurants, corner stores, grocery stores, convenience stores, bakeries, and more.

DoorDash also committed to donate $1 for every order (up to $1 million) to Sesame Workshop starting today, Sunday, February 7, building upon its $200 million Main Street Strong pledge to support merchants, Dashers and local communities.

Reaching out to let you know that DoorDash has officially donated $1 Million to Sesame Workshop with your help. As an additional way to support* Sesame Workshop, DoorDash today announced that Sesame Street’s iconic Hooper’s Store will join DashMart, a new type of convenience store on the DoorDash platform, starting today February 7 in 10 U.S. markets (Columbus, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Sacramento, Dallas, Phoenix, Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Salt Lake City), while supplies last. One hundred percent of net proceeds will go directly to Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit behind Sesame Street, to support global educational media and social impact programs.
