Scottsdale-based Edgenuity, a leading provider of online curriculum and instructional services for the K-12 market, today welcomes blended learning curriculum provider Odysseyware to the company. The announcement follows the acquisition of Glynlon finalized last month by Weld North Education, the largest pure play digital curriculum company in the country. Combined, Edgenuity and Odysseyware also serve more than four million students in thousands of schools and districts across the country.

Demand continues to grow for personalized, targeted learning to improve student outcomes. With Odysseyware and Edgenuity together, educators now have access to more solutions to address blended and online learning, intervention, credit recovery and instructional services and support.

“This is an incredible opportunity to continue to build the best digital curriculum company in the market,” said Sari Factor, CEO of Edgenuity. “Edgenuity and Odysseyware share many values, including our commitment to product quality and exceptional customer support. Working together, we have more solutions to serve our customers and ensure successful implementations and strong student outcomes.”

Edgenuity now offers more courses than ever, spanning grades K-12; more implementation choices at the school, district and individual student level; and the opportunity to address critical school needs, including the national teacher shortage and programs for college and career readiness, intervention and credit recovery.

“We remain committed to providing increasingly innovative and effective solutions to meet schools where they have the greatest needs,” added Factor. “This acquisition represents one more step in Edgenuity’s vision to provide opportunity and access to high quality education through technology.”

There will be no immediate changes impacting the products or support services used by existing Edgenuity or Odysseyware customers.
