The new name and brand were officially launched during Andretti Indoor Karting & Games grand opening week. The high-energy celebration attracted over 2,000 visitors and highlighted the excitement, culture and entertainment that makes Glendale a premier destination.

The community block party featured Arizona-themed activations, mascot meet-and-greets, marching bands, influencer appearances, and a drone light show to wrap up Experience Glendale Day.

“Glendale is Arizona’s premier entertainment destination with so many exciting things to do and we’re thrilled to welcome the West Valley and beyond to enjoy everything we have to offer,” said Eddie Hamann, managing member of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games.

The rebrand for the CVB is part of the Economic Development Department’s larger strategy to attract new visitors, conferences and events while engaging and encouraging them to do more than just visit, but to experience the quality dining, retail, and entertainment attractions that make Glendale a premier destination.

“The boom in our entertainment district has been phenomenal,” said Mayor Jerry P. Weiers. “As a city we have been focused on growing our experiential economy. The Experience Glendale rebrand amplifies our efforts, along with the addition of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. The time is now to experience Glendale.”

The Experience Glendale logo aims to both support the City’s existing brand and identity, while maintaining a sense of individuality focusing more on travel & tourism. A unique, identifiable brand mark that is subtly connected to the existing city brand both in color and form.

The flexibility of iconography used in the brand allows the organization to connect with the communities and events that make Glendale special with respect and intention.

As part of the rebrand, the CVB has unveiled a new logo, which can be found on the Experience Glendale website, along with other valuable information on local attractions, events, restaurants, places to stay and activities. In the near future, locals and visitors alike will have the opportunity to become one with the brand through monument and wayfinding signs.
