Residents in the northeast Valley have a new one-stop option for their health care needs as a comprehensive new primary care facility, Banner Health Center, opens to new patients on Thursday, June 23.
Community members are invited to get an up-close look, and can tour the center on Saturday, June 25 with a ribbon-cutting and welcoming celebration occurring from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the center, 4720 E. Greenway Road – on the northwest corner of Tatum Blvd. and Greenway Road in Phoenix.
The new Banner Health Center in the northeast Valley is currently scheduling appointments and accepts most insurance plans. To make an appointment or for more information, call (602) 439-6000. The new center will open for patient care on Thursday, June 23, starting at 8 a.m. Along with 18 exam rooms, basic imaging and laboratory services are also available on site for added patient convenience.
The new center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Same day and next day appointments available. Concierge staff answers the phones one hour before and one hour after center hours.
The center will offer a wide range of services including:
- Well-child checkups and immunizations
- Adult physicals
- Care for chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma
- Treatment for ear aches, sore throats and infections
- Sports injury and fracture care
- Minor skin irritation treatment
- Cuts and suture removal
The Banner Health Center in the northeast Valley is the ninth such facility to open in Greater Phoenix.
