As a result, the insurer reduced waiting periods on its traditional dental plans, ensuring that members have full access to covered benefits within their first year on the plan. Although most of the new offerings are traditional plan designs, two of the plans reward members for maintaining dental coverage. With these incentive plans, the amount members pay for covered services decreases for the first 3 years they are enrolled in the plan. There are no waiting periods on the incentive plans, so members have full access to covered benefits from day one.
And because oral health starts at infancy, Delta Dental of Arizona’s individual and family plans encourage parents to get regular checkups for their kids with the Free Until ThreeTM feature. Simply put there is no charge to cover eligible dependents under the age of 3.[1]
“We just released these plans and they’re already gaining momentum due to their unique features and pricing. Depending on the plan you choose, you can get coverage for as low as $19.94 per person, per month,” Livesay said.
