Phoenix Children’s Care Network (PCCN) announced it is partnering with Bright Health, and soon Phoenix Children’s facilities and providers will be covered in-network on Bright Health Individual and Family health plans in Maricopa County. With this partnership, families purchasing 2019 health insurance plans on the Health Insurance Marketplace will have the option to select Bright Health and receive care at Phoenix Children’s. “Our contract with Bright Health is exciting for a number of reasons,” said Robert. L. Meyer, President and CEO of Phoenix Children’s. “In 2018 there were no exchange networks offering plans with Phoenix Children’s which was distressing for many patient families. Now, with Bright Health’s entry into the Phoenix market, we can again care for families selecting plans from the Health Insurance Marketplace and provide the top-quality pediatric care they have come to expect.” Families selecting plans with Bright Health will have access to Phoenix Children’s Care Network with over 1,000 care providers across the state and care management services that help families navigate the healthcare system. Plan selection for the Health Insurance Marketplace begins during Open Enrollment from November 1 to December 15, 2018. “Bright Health is proud to be partnering with Phoenix Children’s Hospital to fill this void for Arizona families who don’t receive health insurance from employers’ plans,” said Bob Sheehy, Bright Health Co-founder and CEO. “Through this partnership, hardworking Arizonans can again have access to Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s top-ranked network of providers and best-in-class care for their children.” In addition to providing its Maricopa County members access to Phoenix Children’s Care Network, Bright Health will offer individual plans through its Care Partner collaboration with the entire Arizona Care Network (ACN), with access to Abrazo Community Health Network, Dignity Health, and Maricopa Medical Center. In Pima County, Bright Health is collaborating with Carondelet Health Network. Bright Health will offer Individual and Family Plans to Arizona residents in Maricopa and Pima counties via their website, BrightHealthplan.com, call center, broker partners and the HealthCare.gov website. |
