The hospital recently enhanced its surgical robotics program with the addition of the da Vinci Xi system, offering surgeons greater precision and providing patients with minimally invasive options that can lead to shorter recovery times and improved outcomes.

To further serve patients with kidney disease, the medical center has launched inpatient hemodialysis services, ensuring access to life-sustaining treatment without the need for off-site transfers. The addition supports continuity of care and greater comfort for hospitalized patients.

Several facility enhancements are also in motion. A major renovation of the third-floor patient unit is underway, with completion expected in early 2026. The redesigned space will provide a more modern, comfortable environment to support healing and high-quality care.

The hospital’s new cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology lab is also on track to open in fall 2025. Once complete, it will offer cardiac and vascular services, expanding the hospital’s specialty care capabilities.

In orthopedics, the recent installation of a state-of-the-art orthopedic positioning table is improving surgical access and patient safety. This technology enables better positioning, allowing for more accurate procedures and enhanced comfort during surgery.

“These enhancements reflect our unwavering commitment to innovation, patient safety and delivering high-quality care close to home,” said Danielle Kamm, associate administrator of HonorHealth Tempe Medical Center. “Whether it’s expanding access to advanced surgical technology, adding vital services like inpatient dialysis, or modernizing our facilities, every improvement is centered around one goal — providing a safer, more comfortable and more connected experience for our patients.”
