President Trump’s first 100 days have come and gone, and small business owners have spoken.
According to a just-released survey commissioned by Fit Small Business, which targeted over 1,000 small business owners, more than half think President Trump should be canned.
Even more telling – ‘Trumpcare’ is extremely unpopular among small business owners: Only 13% support the current healthcare bill that was just passed in the House last week.
The majority of small business owners (72%) say expanding access to healthcare is THE MOST crucial factor to healthcare reform — more so than reducing the Federal debt or taxes.
Here are some of the study’s key findings:
- 54% of small business owners think Trump should be fired
- 53% of small business owners oppose the current healthcare plan; 13% support it; 34% remain neutral
- The majority of small business owners don’t like the healthcare plan, but 63% said they are unsure how it will impact their businesses
- An overwhelming majority believe that insurance companies should be required to provide coverage to people with pre-existing conditions
