Instacart, the fast-growing retail delivery service whose personal shoppers hand pick and deliver items from trusted local stores, has expanded into Phoenix, its first market in Arizona.
As of today, Phoenix residents can order from their favorite retailers like Costco, Smart and Final and Petco, and have their groceries delivered straight to their doorsteps in as little as one hour. Instacart received an overwhelming volume of requests for expansion into the Phoenix area and plans to extend its service to 22 zip codes in Phoenix.
The holidays are coming and Phoenix residents have more than ever to plan for on even less time than usual – especially if you’re a pet owner. With retailers like Petco on the Instacart marketplace, users can get all of the pet supplies they need prior to heading out for the holidays; and if you’re planning on staying home for the season, Instacart has your grocery needs covered.
Folks can even get a Halloween costume for your furry friend through the Instacart marketplace. Instacart’s entrance to Phoenix will give residents the peace of mind that time-consuming grocery and pet-supply shopping can now be completed in a matter of minutes.
“Over the past year we’ve seen incredible growth throughout cities in the West,” said Sean Twersky, Instacart general manager. “We strive to provide the freshest, highest quality groceries to our customers and we’re very excited to expand to Phoenix and give thousands of new customers the opportunity to experience Instacart’s incredible service.”
